We are looking for an experienced Travelling Butler to join a busy UHNW family based in Central London, travelling with the family for extended periods throughout Europe.
This is a hands-on, service-focused position. The family are looking for someone who can provide excellent day-to-day service while also bringing greater organisation and structure to the household.
The right person will be hardworking, flexible and able to take a constantly changing environment in their stride. Plans can change throughout the day, so adaptability and a positive, practical approach are essential.

Salary: £60,000–£65,000+ depending on experience
Start: ASAP
Accommodation: Ideally live-out in London; live-in can be considered
Travel: Approximately six weeks during the summer and potentially up to three months during the winter
The Role
Service is a key part of this position, including serving the family at lunch and dinner.
Alongside service, the Butler will help bring structure and organisation to the household, oversee the housekeeping team and provide training where required to help everything run more smoothly.
The role will also include wardrobe management, travelling with the family and some driving in the evenings.

Requirements
- Previous experience as a Butler within a UHNW/private household environment
- Strong service skills
- Excellent organisational skills
- Experience overseeing or training household staff
- Wardrobe management experience
- Full driving licence
- Comfortable travelling for extended periods
- Hardworking and able to take changing circumstances in their stride
- Professional and discreet
- Comfortable working within a busy family household
- Right to work in the UK and able to travel throughout Europe

The Person
Personality and fit will be particularly important.
The family are looking for someone hardworking, flexible and adaptable who can comfortably deal with plans changing throughout the day. They need someone who will get stuck in, work well with the existing household team and maintain a high standard of service even during busy periods and long days.
Ideally, the successful candidate will already be London-based and able to live out, although live-in can be accommodated for the right person.
This would suit an experienced Butler looking for a long-term position combining private service, household organisation and extensive European travel.
