Whitewater Recruitment is looking for an experienced Sole Engineer to join a well-established 40m private motor yacht.
This is a hands-on position for an engineer who is comfortable taking full responsibility for the vessel’s engineering department and enjoys working independently. The yacht is looking for someone professional, proactive and technically strong who is interested in a long-term position.

Requirements
- Y3 / Chief Engineer SV <500GT 3,000kW or equivalent
- Previous experience as Sole/Chief Engineer on similar-sized yachts
- Strong mechanical and technical knowledge
- Confident managing planned maintenance and day-to-day engineering independently
- Hands-on approach to maintenance and fault finding
- Good longevity in previous positions
- Excellent, checkable references
- Valid STCW
- Valid ENG1
- Schengen visa, EU residency or visa-free Schengen access
- Available to start ASAP
