REFIT PROJECT MANAGER – 58M MOTOR YACHT
We are looking for an experienced Refit Project Manager to join a confidential 58m motor yacht project in Europe.
The role is expected to start in late August or early September and run through to approximately the end of April. The successful candidate will be based on site at the shipyard and will take responsibility for coordinating a significant engineering and cosmetic refit programme.
The ideal candidate will have a strong Chief Engineer or technical management background, with previous shipyard and refit experience. Candidates moving ashore from a senior engineering role will also be considered, provided they have the right project management capability and communication skills.
Key requirements include:
- Strong large-yacht engineering experience
- Previous refit or shipyard experience
- Confident project planning and contractor coordination
- Experience with Pinpoint
- Smartsheet experience highly desirable
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Strong reporting and client-facing communication skills
- Ability to lead regular progress meetings and provide clear updates
- Unlimited ticket preferred
This is not a remote role. The candidate will need to be present at the yard during the working week, with some flexibility to travel home at weekends once the project is established. A full-time site presence will be required during the opening and closing stages of the refit.
Candidates based in France or within easy reach of a major UK or European airport would be preferred.
Salary: €8,000–€10,000 per month, depending on experience
