A private family is seeking an experienced Butler to support their summer residence on the US East Coast.
This position sits within a well-established household team and focuses on delivering a high standard of service during an active summer period, including family stays and guest visits.

Working alongside the Estate Manager and wider household team, the Butler will play a key role in maintaining smooth day-to-day operations and supporting seasonal entertaining.
Key responsibilities:
- Delivering attentive and intuitive service to the principals and their guests
- Managing service for meals, gatherings, and informal events
- Preparing beverages, including cocktails, and maintaining bar standards
- Assisting with wine service and general presentation
- Setting up dining areas in line with the occasion
- Supporting the coordination of small-scale events and family hosting
- Liaising with chefs and housekeeping to ensure seamless service
- Assisting with occasional driving duties if required
- Contributing to a well-organised and welcoming household environment

Requirements:
- Previous experience in a private household or high-end hospitality environment
- Solid knowledge of food and beverage service
- Experience supporting guest hosting or informal events
- Valid driver’s licence
- Comfortable with a live-in arrangement
- Strong interpersonal skills and a professional manner
- Right to work in the United States
