Second Officer – 55m M/Y – Dual Season
Whitewater Recruitment is looking for a Second Officer to join a busy 55m motor yacht operating a private and charter programme. This is a very busy, back-to-back programme with frequent owner and charter usage, operating between the Mediterranean and Caribbean.
The role is well suited to a younger, recently qualified OOW looking to gain further experience and responsibility within a busy deck department. The successful candidate will work alongside the rotational Chief Officers, assisting with the management of the deck team and supporting the overall running of the deck department. The role requires an OOW qualification, particularly for upcoming crossings, and would suit someone with at least two years of solid yachting experience who is energetic, hardworking and a strong team player.
Requirements:
Joining Location: Mediterranean
Start Date: 20th September or before
Salary: DOE
Leave: 60 days
Experience: Minimum two years of solid yachting experience, ideally suited to a recently qualified OOW
Certifications: STCW, ENG1 and OOW
Visas: B1/B2 and Schengen preferred
Personality: Energetic, hardworking and a strong team player
