Whitewater Recruitment is exclusively recruiting an experienced Second Engineer to join a 90m motor yacht on a rotational basis.
The vessel is currently undergoing a substantial refit, with an exciting cruising programme planned following completion. A perfect time for the right candidate to get stuck in and learn the vessel before it goes operational.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated Second Engineer to join a well-supported engineering department, working alongside an experienced Chief Engineer during the final stages of the refit and the yacht's return to operation.

Candidate Requirements

Previous experience as a Second Engineer on yachts is essential.

2nd Engineer Unlimited preferred - or equivalent (vessel is under 3000GT)

Strong technical knowledge and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

Experience with shipyard periods, commissioning or refit projects would be beneficial.

Excellent communication skills and a proactive, hands-on approach.

A positive attitude and willingness to work collaboratively with other departments.

Consistent employment history and a genuine interest in a long-term position.
The Opportunity
The successful candidate will assist with the completion of an extensive refit, including engineering coordination, surveys, commissioning and preparations for the vessel's return to service.
