This is a Miami-based position, so applicants must already be US residents and ideally based locally in or near Miami. No accommodation is provided while the vessel is in Miami, so this will not suit candidates looking to relocate or live aboard.

The role is for a privately used 43ft sportfish vessel, operating both from Miami and occasionally in support of a larger mothership programme. The vessel is used by the family for fishing trips out of Miami and may also follow the mothership during longer passages in US and Caribbean waters.

When travelling with the wider programme, travel, accommodation and sustenance will be provided. When the vessel is being used from Miami, accommodation and sustenance are not provided.

The successful candidate must be a confident, hands-on sportfish captain with strong fishing knowledge and proven experience running similar vessels. They must be discreet, flexible, locally knowledgeable, and comfortable working within a private family environment.

Bilingual English and Spanish is required.

The vessel is expected to be used around six times per month, with flexibility needed around owner usage and occasional travel.

We are looking for an experienced Bosun to join a prestigious 100m+ private motor yacht.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong large-yacht experience, excellent deck maintenance standards, and the ability to lead from the front. The vessel runs to a very high standard, so we need someone polished, hands-on, organised, and confident managing the day-to-day deck team.

The ideal candidate will have solid tender-driving experience, strong exterior maintenance knowledge, good crew management skills, and a professional, calm approach. Large yacht experience is essential, and prior time on 80m+ vessels would be highly advantageous.

The engineering setup needs someone who can work independently and does not need babysitting. Similar size yacht experience is strongly preferred, although a strong commercial background may be considered if the candidate is genuinely hands-on and ticks the rest of the boxes.

They need someone confident on the tools, proactive, and happy to get stuck into day-to-day engineering as well as helping improve systems, PMs, inventory, and general department standards. The yacht is in good technical shape with no major issues.
