<p data-end="725" data-start="474">Due to increasing demand for refit management and yachts entering technical management, the company is expanding its technical department and is looking for a <strong data-end="724" data-start="633">commercially certified Chief Engineer with strong large yacht and commercial experience</strong>.</p>

<p data-end="879" data-start="727">This is a senior role involving significant client interaction and responsibility across large yachts, complex refits, and potentially an owner&rsquo;s fleet.</p>

<p data-end="958" data-start="881">The position can be <strong data-end="933" data-start="901">Monaco-based or fully remote</strong> for the right candidate.</p>

<p data-end="1147" data-start="979">The successful candidate will support the technical department across both <strong data-end="1107" data-start="1054">refit project management and technical management</strong>, depending on operational requirements.</p>

<p data-end="2153" data-start="2005">Refit projects are typically carried out in <strong data-end="2099" data-start="2049">European shipyards (Germany, Italy and France)</strong> and may range from <strong data-end="2152" data-start="2119">4&ndash;8 months depending on scope</strong>.</p>

<p data-end="2321" data-start="2155">During refit periods, the Technical Manager / Project Manager will spend significant time in the yard, with travel home possible during quieter phases of the project.</p>

<p data-end="2530" data-start="2354">When operating in a technical management capacity, the role will involve remote management of yachts with periodic visits to vessels and occasional visits to the Monaco office.</p>

<p data-end="2749" data-start="2560">We are seeking a <strong data-end="2640" data-start="2577">senior, well-presented and commercially minded professional</strong> with excellent communication skills and the ability to deal confidently with owners and senior stakeholders.</p>

<p data-end="2939" data-start="2751">The successful candidate must be a <strong data-end="2812" data-start="2786">native English speaker</strong> who can communicate clearly, confidently and respectfully with <strong data-end="2938" data-start="2876">Captains, senior HODs, owners&rsquo; offices and owners directly</strong>.</p>

&bull; Seagoing experience as <strong data-end="3161" data-start="3114">Chief Engineer or 2nd Engineer (commercial)</strong> OR <strong data-end="3208" data-start="3165">Chief Engineer (Y1) in the yacht sector</strong><br data-end="3211" data-start="3208">
&bull; Alternatively, relevant <strong data-end="3263" data-start="3237">shore-based experience</strong> such as Technical Superintendent, Naval Architect, Class Surveyor, or Shipyard/Refit Project Manager<br data-end="3367" data-start="3364">
